The Very Best of Rainbow is a greatest hits compilation album by Rainbow. It features material ranging from 1975's Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow to their 1983 release, Bent Out of Shape.

It should be noted that the front cover comes from the inside of the first Rainbow album, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, and is actually a picture of Ritchie Blackmore playing with his previous band, Deep Purple.
